Melissa Kuproski
My name is Melissa
Kuproski and I am passionate about music education. Growing up in Northern California, I attended
a private Christian school that emphasized in music and performance. Almost
everyone I knew played an instrument and sang in choir from a young age. This experience is what fostered my passion
for music. I attended Arizona State
University and have degrees in Vocal Performance and Music Education. My performance experience includes solo
recitals, singing in several choirs, and various opera and musical theater
performances. I also got to perform in
an opera in Rome! My teaching/directing
experience includes teaching elementary school music, directing a number of choirs,
as well as teaching private music lessons. I
feel so fortunate to be involved in a career that I love. I know from first hand experience the level
of young talent we have in our community and want to give the children the
training and performance experience that San Tan Children’s Choir can provide.
